Kavaliro is seeking an exceptionally talented and motivated  Product Manager that will lead the strategy and execution of our AP Automation & API integration solutions.

The AP Automation/API Product Manager is a key contributor to on-time and successful launch as well as end to end delivery of integrations to third party accounting packages and our AP Automation features and solutions. In this role, you will be supporting the overall effort coordinating with our internal teams - business development, customer success, legal, compliance, product and engineering - to help deliver full functioning integrations and accounts payable features with the product suite. You will also be liaising with our ERP partners, issuer bank partners, payment network partners and fulfilment vendors.

Living in the platform API world, you would be exposed to challenges of managing the successful API integrations to a variety of platforms (NetSuite, Sage, Quickbooks, etc.,) and developing features and offerings that automate the most cumbersome tasks in accounts payable for our customers.   

 What the next great AP Automation / API Product Manager will be focused on: 
  • Work on the core components of our Accounts Payable platform, defining strategies that solve real customer problems and generate revenue
  • Development of streamlined accounting package integrations to many popular cloud & on prem accounting packages
  • Manage the realization of your new features and product offerings.  Manage the product lifecycle in an Agile environment, leading feature definition, requirements gathering, board & backlog management and the ultimate delivery of the solution.
  • Develop methods and tools for measuring the effectiveness of your new product introductions
  • Liase and work with our Customers, Customer Support, Sales, Marketing and other teams define requirements and ensure the successful deployment of new features and capabilities.

What the next great API Product Manager needs to have: 
  • 3 - 7 years of Product Management experience
  • Strong background in payables and payments including purchasing solutions and e-procurement   preferred
  • Background in ERP integrations, particularly with SaaS platforms preferred
  • Financial accounting background preferred
  • Experience managing an Agile product lifecycle
  • Desire to be part of a team that is doing great and innovative work
  • Passionate about all aspects of development. We are not above debating tabs versus spaces
  • Views software development as a craft rather than just a job

Bachelor’ s or Master’ s degree in CS or related field of study is preferred
