Business Systems Analyst

Job Description
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of work experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent role is required
- Work experience in Health Care, Insurance, or Pharmacy Benefit Manager is preferred
- Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills is required
- Must be proficient in standard office software tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- Experience using flowcharting tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio) is required
- Certification in Business Analysis or a related technical area preferred
- Experience with analyzing information systems issues for problem resolution is required
- Experience with written requirements related to software and information systems projects is required
- Experience with creating, analyzing workflow documentation for process improvement purposes is required
- Experience in use of standard transactions such as HL7 and/or EDI is required
- Understanding of the software development life cycle is required
- Knowledge of HIPAA Privacy and Security, and HITECH is preferred
