Candidate will be required to work in a consultative manner directly with customers, and customer support teams to deliver projects which include the following responsibilities:

 
  • Supporting development team by providing CI/CD features.
  • Providing industry best CI/CD to Java/JEE/.NET/NodeJS/Angular/iOS/Android projects.
  • Contributing to CI/CD process, developing deployment scripts with high standard to make it highly configurable and maintainable.
  • Build and execute the scripts to do administrative activities and automate as much as possible.
  • The CI/CD Systems Engineer needs to be a highly motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and when given specific tasks can take responsibility for completing them in a timely manner without significant guidance.
  • This is a hands-on role working collaboratively to enable quick builds in parallel project driven Agile development environment to support automated testing of custom Java Applications.
  • Act as a liaison between QA, application development and operations

 

Key skills

 
  • Experience in designing and implementation of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), Release Management, DevOps.
  • Agile Project Tracking tools, Source Code Management, Test Management, Configuration Management, Build, Deployment and Test Automation Tools.
  • Create and maintain build scripts for Java applications with tools like Maven, Gradle, or similar.
  • Create and maintain deployment scripts of Java/J2EE Applications to any Application Server.
  • Working experience on *INX (Mostly Linux RHEL), should be comfortable with multi clustered applications deployed in highly available online systems.
  • Solid experience on continuous integration eg: Jenkins, Bamboo etc. including administration and usage.
  • Strong scripting skills Groovy/Shell/Python and other scripting languages.
  • Experience on version control systems like Git/SVN etc with all administrative advanced features.
  • Understanding of automation tools Chef/Puppet etc is a must.
  • Experience in High Availability Architecture and Deployments like Zero Downtime Deployment, Light/Dark, Green/Blue etc. architecture  
  • In addition to automation, the CI/CD  engineer will monitor, analyze and recommend enhancements to the build and deployment pipeline to ensure builds are deployed in an accurate and timely manner.
