Data Performance Analyst

Responsible for supporting wind and solar asset and performance data associated with operations systems and databases.
The performance analyst will develop visualizations, dashboards, and reports in Microsoft Power BI using data from our data warehouse (IMA).
These analytics are used to provide insights and convey operational metrics to operations and other business functions.

Responsibilities and duties:

Reporting - collect and analyze data from various sites to produce reports for key metrics that align with business unit goals and objectives.
Identify, document, and understand business requirements and translate into reporting solutions to support operations as well as Continuous Improvement initiatives.
Maintain and improve reports and metrics provided to key stakeholders.
Serve as administrator of existing business intelligence and reporting tools as well as train end-users on reporting tools (Power BI).
Work closely with the engineering team to move legacy data into the IMA to support business needs.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in business related or technical field with two years of experience in data modeling, report coding and/or dashboard development
Expert level capabilities in producing data visualizations and dashboards in Microsoft Power BI
Familiarity with data management structures and terminology.
High level analytical skills, troubleshooting, and demonstrated high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint) and PowerBI
Demonstrated effective oral/written communication, organizational, presentation, facilitation and planning skills.

Desired Qualifications:
Strong knowledge and understanding of OSI Soft PI? SQL Server and coding knowledge
Demonstrated ability to create, write and troubleshoot VBA code
Two years of experience in trend analysis, forecasting, or statistical analysis
