Desktop Support Analyst

Provides hands-on and remote hardware, software and infrastructure technical support; Responds to problem resolution requests as specified by the priority definitions within Service Level Agreements
Utilizes troubleshooting skills to facilitate problem resolution
Keeps assigned Enterprise Help Desk Remedy data updated; Appropriately verifies the need for workstation hardware maintenance. Serves as the Local IT for the deployment of IT products, services and applications; Implements deployment plans associated with application and equipment roll-outs and upgrades. Incumbents must have a broad understanding of the design and functionality of a wide range of workstations and peripheral equipment.
Must have knowledge of and be able to resolve complex technical and functional problems with a variety of unique business products and applications.
Project management skills and the ability to facilitate the alignment and integration of technology and business plans are required.
Demonstrated strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to work effectively with customers, IT management and teammates
3 - 5 years desktop support experience is required (Windows, MS Office, email, etc),
Hardware: Lenovo-Dell-HP Workstations and HP Printers,
Ability to install workstation hardware and Operating Systems
Trouble shooting, isolation and problem solving skills
Perform client data backups and restores
Ability to handle administrative tasks,
Ability to use a Problem Tracking Tool
Asset Inventory tracking
Participates on an On Call Rotation with others on the team.
Four year degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience but must have high school diploma.
Position description includes spending 40? 50% of the time traveling in support of Offices in western Indiana.
The remaining 50% of the time will be spent assisting the Local IT Analyst in Ownesville, IN
