Job Description


Our client is a leading healthcare organization dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and improving healthcare outcomes. We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our dynamic finance team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to our organization's financial analysis and decision-making processes, with a specific focus on utilizing SQL expertise within the healthcare industry.

Responsibilities:

  1. Data Analysis and Reporting:
    • Utilize SQL and other data analysis tools to extract, manipulate, and analyze large datasets related to financial and operational metrics.
    • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures to support financial reporting and decision-making processes.
    • Create and maintain accurate and timely financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for various stakeholders.

  2. Financial Planning and Budgeting:
    • Assist in the development and preparation of financial budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial data, validate assumptions, and provide insights to support budgeting and forecasting activities.
    • Monitor and analyze financial performance against budgeted targets, identifying trends, and recommending corrective actions as necessary.

  3. Financial Modeling and Analysis:
    • Build financial models to support strategic initiatives, capital investment decisions, and cost optimization efforts within the healthcare industry.
    • Conduct financial analyses, including profitability analysis, variance analysis, and financial feasibility studies, to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to support strategic decision-making at both operational and executive levels.

  4. Healthcare Data Analysis:
    • Leverage healthcare-specific data sources and knowledge to analyze reimbursement patterns, claims data, and other relevant financial information.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in revenue cycle management, cost control, and financial performance within the healthcare domain.
    • Stay up to date with industry regulations and trends related to healthcare finance, reimbursement methodologies, and data reporting requirements.
Compensation: 
  • $70k-$80k
