Microsoft SharePoint IT Training Analyst / Trainer

Involved with planning and supporting change management activities associated with developing and rolling out new solutions and functionality based on Microsoft SharePoint.
The Training Analyst works with technical development team members and business users to identify and document training requirements. They work directly with end business users to develop appropriate training materials and training programs needed to support the rollout and operation of new SharePoint centric solutions. The work includes development of both technical operations training materials and job aids and business focused training materials including system governance information necessary for maintaining best practice operations.

Responsibilities

Works with business users to understand their learning development needs
Provides a deep understanding and connection to the training materials and audience
Provides communications in a concise, to the point, manner
Develops and maintains end user training materials, technical manuals, guidelines, and governance policies
Trains SharePoint users by providing innovative, practical, and dynamic SharePoint training solutions that save time, increase productivity, and improve the way in which people utilize the SharePoint platform
Provides group and one on one training sessions
Delivers current training on Microsoft Office SharePoint including training on non-standard customizations and capabilities created specifically to enhance the business platform
Presents classes in person, and virtually, online utilizing e-learning tools and techniques including Microsoft Skype based training delivery
Assess the effectiveness of all courses presented through personal introspection, course surveys, input from business users and technology team members
Schedules training sessions for various levels of users
Coordinates guest speakers and manages open forum discussion sessions 
Communicates to end users training related information, include course schedule, course details, etc.
Develops training communication plans 

Required Qualifications

3+ years experience developing and delivering Microsoft SharePoint based consulting and training services
Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft SharePoint 2013 or greater 
Demonstrated experience developing training materials
Demonstrated experience training office professional employees, production facility employees and, or, adult learners in a classroom environment
Demonstrated experience with writing and documenting requirements and processes supporting technology centric solutions
Ability to work with internal business customers and team members effectively and proactively
Experience training users on SharePoint functionality s

Desired Qualifications
Experience with organizational change management methodologies
Organizational Change Management certifications desirable but not required
