Description

The NetSuite Business Process Consultant will play a key role in the implementation of NetSuite for use by numerous organizations implementing projects worldwide. As a NetSuite subject matter expert (SME), the Consultant will support activities including but not limited to system implementation, integration, and process consultation.

IIa has been contracted to provide support an international organization in its vision to deploy its inclusive, integrated, sustainable prosperity development program (IISPD) initially in Africa.   The consultant will advise on how to change standard workflows, when to use scripting tools to meet the business needs, and when to extend use through integrations. This consultant can explain the implications and benefits of NetSuite configuration options.

The consultant should have a thorough understanding of business process and how to utilize NetSuite to its fullest extent in support of those processes. The Consultant will define business requirements for technical solutions or alternatives, and will identify and help design customizations, workarounds, or enhancements as necessary.

Some travel may be required

Required Experience, Skills, and Personality
  • NetSuite ERP Consultant Certification preferred
  • In lieu of certification, experience performing at least 6 years’ experience implementing ERP systems with at least 3 years implementing NetSuite
  • Intermediate to expert experience with core business processes such as finance and accounting
  • Experience in international project support is a plus
  • Experience with NetSuite integration tools and erd party add on modules
  • Knowledge of NetSuite customization tools required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must be willing to work irregular hours (not necessarily 9-5)
  • Familiarity with agile/extreme/rapid/critical chain approaches for project management (Preferred)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to feel comfortable working with unproven/challenging new concepts
  • Desire to learn new and different approaches
  • Ability to work on your own, as well as on teams
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial organization
  • Ability to handle chaos, turbulence, and constant change
  • Valid driver’ s license and reliable car
