Schedule and lead risk assessments with teams of personnel to identify and score risks pertaining to their respective objectives for operations, safety, compliance or strategy
Assess documented processes and procedures for risks to achieving compliance with policies and regulations or to achieving stated objectives
Provide support to internal customers by assisting in the development of mitigation and internal controls to address priority risks
Track mitigation plans and deployment of controls
Develop and maintain documentation and tracking of key risk information and internal controls
Tailor and provide routine risk reporting and stakeholder communications to include both quantitative and qualitative risk information
Support monitoring activities and the development of practices for ongoing tracking, verification and testing of internal controls

Qualifications:

Bachelor’ s degree from an accredited College or University required.
Certification in risk management or audit practices (CERM, CIA, CRM, RMP, etc.) preferred.
3+ years of relevant business experience required, of which one or more years must include risk management as a primary job responsibility.
Experience in the energy industry dealing with relevant regulatory requirements preferred. Experience leading customer teams (non-direct reports) in problem-solving efforts, strategic planning or risk assessments preferred.
In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate
Understanding of risk management frameworks (COSO, ISO, NIST, etc.) and principles preferred.
Strong word processing, computer spreadsheet, presentation and analytical skills required.
A strong customer focus with the ability to work effectively and build relationships with personnel at all levels of the organization is required; must be able to communicate effectively with technical subject matter experts and be able to comprehend technical material and concepts.
Must be driven, possess strong leadership skills, be highly organized and be able to manage multiple priorities with minimal direction.
