Job Description

Kavaliro is seeking a Systems Engineer to support a client in Herndon, VA. The Systems Engineer will serve as a single POC regarding oversight of all systems engineering team efforts and provide status updates and take action regarding engineering implementation issues.

Skills/Experience: 
  • Demonstrated experience designing and deploying web, internet, and cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with systems engineering lifecycle management.
  • Demonstrated experience utilizing Agile development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud Engineering, working with one or more of the following CSPs: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Oracle Cloud, or IBM Cloud.
  • Demonstrated experience with the Sponsor’s A&A process and tool.
  • Demonstrated experience working in the Sponsor’s domain.
  • Demonstrated experience working with cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of Business or Systems Engineering.
  • Cloud Engineering certification, such as one from AWS, Azure, Google, Oracle, or IBM.
Location:
  • Customer location in Herndon, VA
  • This position is onsite and there is no remote availability

Clearance Requirement: 
  • Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
