The role includes both technology development responsibilities and responsibilities for working directly with internal customers to help them solve business problems or enhance existing manual business processes using computer software solutions.
The role involves analyzing requirements, designing, and developing application technology, testing, deploying, and implementation of developed solutions. The role includes responsibilities both for developing new solutions and for providing ongoing technical support for existing information systems. The role may include system configuration and administration functions as well as internal customer facing consulting, training, guidance, and user adoption activities.
They will also work with the Business Analysts to develop business requirements and process model diagrams.
The Technical Development Lead will have leadership responsibilities for leading technical projects and technical teams.
They will conduct design and code reviews, providing feedback and guidance.
They will have responsibilities for creating and managing execution plans and managing day-to-day activities of development team members using an Agile (Scrum and Kanban) methodology.
Candidate should have a background and experience in working with, coaching, and mentoring technical teams. They will provide guidance and mentor the junior members of the team helping them to grow their knowledge of technical systems.
8 years Information Systems professional work experience
5 years’ experience working with C# and Microsoft .NET Framework
3 years’ experience with PowerShell, writing scripts and cmdlets
Background and experience with Web and Application Server Administration concepts and technologies including networking concepts and solutions
5 years working with Microsoft SharePoint
Knowledge of SharePoint 2010, and 2013
Knowledge of, and familiarity with, enterprise content management and unstructured data management concepts
Knowledge of, and familiarity with, enterprise records management systems
5 years working in systems administration or system development, or technology consulting roles
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on, and with internal technology teams, and internal business customers
Strong consulting and mentorship skills.
Experience using an Agile methodology (Scrum and/or Kanban).
Background and experience with Microsoft centric software development including but not limited to experience with ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, VB.NET, etc.
Background and experience working with relational databases and reporting solutions including but not limited to working with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SQL Server, Microsoft SSRS, or other similar relational database centric reporting solutions.
