Rapidly design, prototype and productize solutions to revolutionize healthcare.
Drive product development and innovation from concept to market release. Including updates and new product releases of systems used in specialty fluoroscopic medical imaging devices and related ancillary components.
Ensure that designs have been fully validated and meet necessary system specifications, performance, and costing requirements.
Complete sustaining engineering projects and aid manufacturing in trouble shooting.
Develop, track, and communicate progress on concurrent R&D projects.
Generate and process Engineering Request, prepare design history documentation, and follow design control procedures.
Support manufacturing with MRP/ERP generated Bills of Materials, schematics, and assembly documentation.
Job and Skill Requirements:
Engineering Degree B.S. or equivalent
Demonstrated success as a project or program leader for a high-tech company
Strong knowledge of electronic theory including: Op amps, logic IC’ s, servo control, motor controllers, switching supplies and microprocessors/microcontrollers, Altera FPGA and CPLDs, PC boards design and ORCAD capture and CANBUS experience.
Experience working on designing Robotic and/ or Motion control systems
Computer skills - adept at using AutoCAD and Solid Works, Microsoft Office, including WORD and EXCEL
PLC and/ or FPGA expertise using VHDL
Knowledge of the FDA GMP/QSR and ISO 13485 requirements desirable
Knowledge of UL/ETL/CE requirements
Must have excellent communication skills
Perform product design, development and quality improvements.
Must love to work fast with limited direction with considerable latitude for achieving results
