Equipment Maintenance Technician

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, this position is responsible for building, equipment repairs and installation.  This is a safety sensitive position where the employee holding this position has the responsibility for his/her own safety and other people' s safety.

Duties:
  • Perform equipment trouble shooting and repairs
  • Conduct preventive equipment maintenance
  • Perform safety inspections
  • Perform building repairs and general facilities maintenance
  • Fabricate custom parts as needed
  • Install, repair and maintain mixers, tanks, fillers, labelers, and other equipment
  • Set up and organize maintenance area and supplies
  • Track and document repairs and preventive maintenance
  • Assist with process improvements
  • Other duties as required

Minimum Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.  At least two years combined experience with equipment and electrical repair
  • Certified forklift operator required
  • Clean driving record – will periodically drive company vehicles

  • Solid time management skills
  • Computer literate

The warehouse work environment is typically an indoors and open warehouse setting subject to extreme shifts in temperature
