Design and develop automated test methodologies, collaborating with development team to implement shift left techniques on test design and automation 
o Leverage coding expertise to develop and maintain test tools and frameworks to validate unit, integration and functional tests of various Web applications 
o Support test engineering efforts to implement enterprise frameworks to enhance overall testing capabilities 
o Research market and industry trends in the development and maintenance of test tools and frameworks to validate unit, integration and functional tests of the system. 
o Anticipate product development team needs for specialized test tools and frameworks. 
o Evaluate and improve testing methodologies and enterprise frameworks for continuous improvement 
o Write actionable, testable product requirements in the form of user stories based on input from development team 

Required experience must include: 
o 4-7+ years of professional software development experience 
o 4+ years of Java/JEE experience 
o 4+ years Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) 

o 4+ SDET experience including 
o Hands on experience implementing test automation for enterprise applications (web, SOA, ETL, and backend) 
o Proficiency with open source automation tools (Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin) 
o Proficiency with open source test frameworks 
o Proficiency with programming languages (Java, Groovy) 
o Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (Jenkins, Go) 
o Experience with build tools (ANT, Maven, Nexus) 
o Experience with SCM tools (SVN, ClearCase), SQL (Oracle), project management tools (Rally, Jira, HP ALM) 

Must Have: 
o Excellent problem solving, analytical skills and technical troubleshooting skills 
o Strong verbal and written communication skills 
o Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
