Vice President, Digital Platform Delivery

Kavaliro is seeking an Digital executive for their leading Orlando based client. As the Vice President of Digital Platform Delivery, you will provide leadership for developing and implementing new technology solutions supporting business operations. The VP will direct the planning, design, development, and delivery of B2B and B2C digital solutions.
The VP will oversee a team to direct the requirements, design, development, and deployment of custom software or packaged solutions and any subsequent integration.
Participate in developing the system and technology plans, assessing cost and feasibility of system requests and ensuring the plan supports current or expected business needs.
Insure that project portfolio is managed with a high degree of success in regard to scope, budget and timeliness of solution delivery. Consider the use of methodologies like Agile development or implementing new software solutions such as open source, or possibly application migration to the cloud in an effort to improve application development and use productivity.
Develop a dashboard of applications development and performance metrics and show annual improvement in productivity.
Manage technology vendors to insure pricing and support are at competitive rates. Manage vendors, contract staff and develop team to complete the defined portfolio.
15+ years of leadership experience in large scale technology project delivery and product development across multiple platforms, including the creation and management of associated budgets.
10+ years of Executive leadership of software and systems delivery, preferably in entertainment, travel, hospitality, or related fields
Proven experience with web and mobile development technologies/services, ecommerce platforms, enterprise integration, and cloud computing.
Experience in designing and leading the development of high quality, enterprise scale digital products in an entrepreneurial environment
Proven successful experience in vendor selection and management for a wide range of technology solutions, including drafting SOW’ s, RFP’ s, and vendor evaluation, budgeting, and monitoring progress through to implementation.
Demonstrated experience in areas of general management, specifically around team member development, leadership skills, organizational skills, and managing/setting priorities in a fast paced environment
Strong interpersonal management skills, with a demonstrated ability to make effective decisions while working through complex personality, program, and business interest related issues
Well developed, executive-level critical thinking and communication skills (written and oral)
EDUCATION: Bachelor’ s degree is required. Master’ s degree in a technology discipline is preferred.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Preferred: Project management certification (PMI or similar) and/or certification in use of specific methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma, Agile, etc.
