Job Description


Job Type: Contract position with potential for extension based on performance and funding.

Location: Primarily on-site, with occasional remote work negotiable.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, project managers, and business analysts to define application requirements.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI, supporting Android, iOS, macOS, and Windows platforms.
  • Design and implement intuitive UI/UX components with XAML and .NET MAUI.
  • Integrate applications with backend APIs, web services (RESTful, GraphQL), and databases.
  • Utilize platform-specific styling through MAUI Visual States and customize controls as needed.
  • Write efficient, maintainable C# code using .NET features, such as async/await.
  • Design and implement robust system architectures, aligning with business objectives.
  • Optimize application performance and scalability while adhering to security best practices.
  • Implement and oversee DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
  • Document workflows, architecture designs, and operational procedures.

Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • 5+ years of experience with .NET MAUI for building native applications across platforms.
  • 5+ years of experience in XAML for UI design.
  • 3+ years of experience with mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP, MVC).
  • 3+ years of experience in C# and .NET development.
  • 3+ years of experience building responsive UIs with .NET MAUI and XAML.
  • Experience analyzing and troubleshooting app issues using Visual Studio.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering quality work.

General Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):
  • Strong communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and ability to assess client needs effectively.
  • Sound decision-making capabilities with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
  • Collaborative team player who inspires and motivates others.
  • Ability to analyze problems and recommend actionable solutions.

Education and Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Desired certifications: Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform.
