Job Description
Responsibilities/Job Duties:
- 1) You oversee day-to-day operations of the audit engagement, including staffing, planning, assessment of risk, fieldwork, reporting and concluding.
- 2) You provide technical expertise and guidance to our audit and assurance staff. You manage and develop staff by assisting in recruiting, evaluating performance, training, and career coaching.
- 3) You manage multiple engagements concurrently with various teams to meet client and internal deadlines all while monitoring engagement budgets to identify inefficiencies in the audit process.
- 1) 6+ years of experience in public accounting with the demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
- 2) At least 1 year of recent experience as a manager with a mid-sized to large public accounting firm; organization and prioritization skills; leadership skills to mentor a young audit team
- 3) Valid license as a Florida Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or professional equivalent
- 4) Member in good standing with the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and Florida Institute of CPAs (FICPA)
Education Requirements:
- 1) Bachelor’s in accounting
- 2) Florida CPA in good standing with AICPA/FICPA
