Job Description

Kavaliro is seeking a Controller to support a client in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including accounts payable, cash management, and financial reporting.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain robust internal controls.
  • Prepare accurate monthly financial statements and performance reports for senior leadership.
  • Conduct detailed account analysis and develop forecasts to support strategic business decisions.
  • Manage the implementation, optimization, and maintenance of financial software systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor cash flow and manage liquidity to meet organizational needs.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the finance team in daily operations.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA required.
  • Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar leadership role within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulatory reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and other financial management tools.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.
  • Demonstrated experience managing accounts payable processes.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and consistently meet tight deadlines.
