Summary Description
As part of a cybersecurity engineering team, you will be assisting the Joint DoDIN Operations Center (JDOC) in ensuring SOUTHCOM is fully compliant with TASKORD 20-0020 and other cybersecurity compliance requirements. Primary duties will be engineering configuration and integration of tools such as Nessus and ACAS as part of the DISA Comply to Connect initiative.
Description:
Kavaliro is looking for cybersecurity engineer with experience and deep understanding on DISA’s Comply-to-Connect program; whether with Forescout or CISCO ISE and used for Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI) reporting
Responsibilities:

Work in conjunction with other vendors or SMEs to integrate ACAS scan results/reporting for compliance automation.

Interprets, analyzes, and reports all events and anomalies in accordance with computer network directives, including initiating, responding, and reporting discovered events.

Evaluates, tests, recommends, coordinates, monitors, and maintains cybersecurity policies, procedures, and systems, including access management for hardware, firmware, and software.

Provides guidance and work leadership to less-experienced technical staff members

Develops techniques and procedures for conducting cybersecurity risk assessments and compliance audits, the evaluation and testing of hardware, firmware and software for possible impact on system security, and the investigation and resolution of security incidents such as intrusion, frauds, attacks or leaks
Required:
-
Comprehensive knowledge of data security administration principles, methods, and techniques

Experience with Tenable Nessus software (ACAS) operating in Enterprise environment.

ACAS Proficiency with a focus on Vulnerability Scan policy, DISA Best Practices and Agent manager deployment

8+ years of total IT experience with 5+ years’ experience as ACAS administrator or engineer, preferably working in DoD environment
-
Must obtain/maintain required DoD 8570 Level II
