IT Project Manager
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Performs project management activities supporting multiple simultaneous projects following established Project Management processes and practices
- Collaborates with project sponsor and operating departments to identify project objectives, milestones, resource requirements and deliverables
- Leads project team by assembling appropriate technical and business personnel, assigning roles and responsibilities, builds and facilitates team cohesion
- Develops project artifacts, to include but not limited to; requirements documentation, scope statements, project charters, project plans, cost estimates, technical specifications, schedules, status reports, project closure documents, lessons learned documentation
- Tracks, monitors, analyzes and reports projects’ costs, schedule and scope status
- Drives timely project activities, as well as efficient and cost-effective use of time, materials and resources
- Identifies, tracks, assesses, communicates and resolves critical issues and potential risks to meet project objectives/deliverables
- Prepares formal and informal project communications
- Ensures projects are executed in compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations, ordinances and codes and with company policies, procedures and standards.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8+ years of overall IT Project Management experience
- Active PMP Certification
- Meeting presentation and facilitation skills
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Attention to detail
- Microsoft Project
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Maximo Application Suite (preferred)
- Project Management practices based on PMI
- Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
- Supply Chain Experience (preferred)
- Maximo Software (preferred)
