Kavaliro has an immediate opportunity for an Enterprise Architect (EA) supporting the Lead Systems Engineer of a large multi-disciplinary team of engineering professionals that are helping solve the most critical cyber challenges for the United States Government. The candidate will implement and improve upon established procedures while performing a variety of tasks related to leading the technical execution of a high-visibility program. The candidate will be relied upon for their detail-oriented approach towards accurately understanding the complex system.

  • MF (POA&M, STIGs/SRGs) experience and Security+ or any other security related certification
  •   Artificial Intelligent/Machine Learning (AI/ML) knowledge
  • Strong DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) knowledge, skill, and ability

What  you  will  work on:

The Enterprise Architect must have extensive experience in the following areas:

Framework
  • Support establishing, implementing and executing the EA processes to increase our sustainability and prepare us for future expansion
  • Identify ways to increase employee knowledge and skills to support future growth

Requirements
  • Analyze customer requirements that are often generic and abstract
  • Derive requirements down into testable thresholds and objectives
  • Enable collaboration among various subsystem teams to gather and communicate requirements
  • Support the presentation / defense of the derived requirements to the customer

Design
  • Creation of various types of  Enterprise and System Architecture viewpoints for improved communication
  • Functional and physical decomposition of complex hardware/software systems to be linked
  • Support the presentation / defense of the designs to the customer

Research
  • Provide consultation to teams performing research on the Nextgen system
  • Review incremental progress and technical reports for completeness
  • Support the presentation / defense of the research to the customer

Writing
  • Develop EA documentations, processes and plans
  • Review user guides and test documents for accuracy and completeness
  • Support the editing / delivery of artifacts to the customer

Education  Required:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field along with 5+ years of related work experience

Minimum Clearance Level  Required:
  • TS / SCI   preferred
  • TS – Top Secret Clearance or Candidate must meet eligibility requirements for a TS security clearance by the U.S. Government within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.
