Facilities Manager
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Facilities Manager to organize, control and coordinate the strategic and operationalÂ
management of our office. They will ensure the proper and efficient operation of all physical aspects ofÂ
our building and create and sustain safe and productive environments for all employees. This person willÂ
be responsible for assessing the costs of maintaining workspaces and making recommendations forÂ
becoming more efficient. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, great organizationalÂ
skills, and an eye for detail.

Duties/Responsibilities:
• Delegating cleaning and maintenance tasks to team members.
• Monitoring the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conferenceÂ
rooms, parking lots and outdoor spaces.
• Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors.
• Ensuring proper security measures for the workplace, including collaborating with securityÂ
system vendors.
• Maintaining day-to-day operations of facilities, such as delegating or completing maintenanceÂ
orders.
• Creating reports on maintenance, repairs, safety and other occurrences for business partners.
• Preparing facilities for changing weather conditions.
• Collaborating with building owners and upper management on budgeting for facilities needs.
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to speak with all levels ofÂ
employees, guests, vendors and team members verbally and in writing.
? Positive attitude and the ability to work well with other managers, co-workers, customers, andÂ
vendors.
? Ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain a high level of attention to detail in a very fast paced business environment.
? Detail oriented and able to problem solve and work independently.
? Proficiency with repair tools and techniques.
? Great time management, organization and prioritization abilities
? Keen attention to detail and efficient problem-solving skills
? Ability to lift 50 lbs and comfortable standing or walking for long periods of time.
? Perceptive of their surroundings and can identify the aspects of a company’s facilities that needÂ
immediate attention, and which should be serviced soon.Â
? Strong sense of urgency, taking the initiative to resolve issues as quickly as possible.Â
Education and Experience:
? High school diploma; Associate’s degree preferred
? 3+ years of related management experience.
Job Location:
? Monday-Friday 9am-6pm; Onsite only
? Must have reliable transportation to commute to 32256
Job Type:
? 6 month contract to permanent (based on performance)
