Job Description


Kavaliro has partnered with a client who is seeking a Junior Technician to be responsible for installing and moving equipment, providing improvements and recommendations to electronic classrooms and training systems within Government facilities

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinating, overseeing, and accomplishing movement/installation of required furniture, equipment, cables, computer systems, and associated facilities activities.
  • Customizing user preferences/computer configurations, including Microsoft Windows 10 settings
  • Updating/fixing/applying browser settings, including default home pages, favorites, and bookmarks
  • Assisting with software settings, including Microsoft Office, Office 365 (i.e., Flank Speed), cloud resources, as well as government and commercial-off-the-shelf applications
  • Updating/fixing/applying all network and local printer configurations.
  • Supporting the implementation of layout, installation of various systems, and quality controls.
  • Preparing reports and compliance documentation.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and safety on the job site
  • Providing support and direction to technician helpers

 

Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering is preferred, or additional experience in place of a degree.
  • Government Contractor Access Card (CAC) are preferred
  • Retired Military is preferred
  • 2+ years of experience as a facilities technician or in a similar role.
  • Experience with MS Office preferred.
  • Experience with assembling furniture and computer equipment is preferred.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license.
