Kavaliro is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our team supporting high-impact programs. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building and optimizing UI components and front-end applications in Angular, with a strong understanding of Java-based back-end systems and AWS cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain modern front-end applications using Angular.
- Collaborate with UX designers and back-end engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Develop reusable UI components and libraries.
- Integrate front-end applications with Java-based APIs and AWS services.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsive design across devices.
- Apply agile development principles and CI/CD best practices.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Fourteen plus (14+) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity.Â
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
- Four (4) additional years of SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
- Extensive experience developing front-end applications with Angular.
- Proficient in Java for back-end integration.
- Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of front-end/UI architecture and best practices.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
- Familiarity with other modern front-end frameworks.
- Prior experience supporting mission-driven or IC programs.
- Fort Meade, MD
- This position is onsite and there is no remote availability
- Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
