Kavaliro is seeking a Software Engineer II to support a client in Maryland.

Job Description:
Kavaliro is seeking an experienced Senior Front-End Software Engineer to join our team supporting high-impact programs. The ideal candidate will have deep experience building and optimizing UI components and front-end applications in Angular, with a strong understanding of Java-based back-end systems and AWS cloud environments.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain modern front-end applications using Angular.
  • Collaborate with UX designers and back-end engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Develop reusable UI components and libraries.
  • Integrate front-end applications with Java-based APIs and AWS services.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure responsive design across devices.
  • Apply agile development principles and CI/CD best practices.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
Required Qualifications:  
  • Fourteen plus (14+) years of experience as a Software Engineer (SWE) in programs of similar scope, type, and complexity. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Four (4) additional years of SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
  • Extensive experience developing front-end applications with Angular.
  • Proficient in Java for back-end integration.
  • Experience working in AWS cloud environments.
  • Strong understanding of front-end/UI architecture and best practices.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of UX/UI principles and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with other modern front-end frameworks.
  • Prior experience supporting mission-driven or IC programs.
Location:
  • Fort Meade, MD
  • This position is onsite and there is no remote availability

  • Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
