Kavaliro is seeking a Software Engineer II to support a client in Maryland.

Job Description:

Kavaliro is seeking a Cloud Analytics Developer with strong experience in large-scale data analytics and analytic programming to support a high-impact mission focused on foundational identity intelligence. This role requires a collaborative team player with a passion for building robust analytic capabilities in a secure cloud environment. The ideal candidate brings strong technical skills, an agile mindset, and a desire to contribute to critical national security objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement scalable cloud-based analytics to support identity intelligence initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain analytics using Java, Portable MapReduce (PMR), and other analytic tools.
  • Support the integration of analytics with mission systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate within an agile production team to deliver high-quality capabilities that meet mission needs.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation of analytic solutions.
Required Qualifications:
  • Active Full Scope Polygraph (FS Poly) clearance.
  • Proficiency in Java development and Portable MapReduce.
  • Familiarity with GMLearn and Pig scripting.
  • Experience using Git and Maven for version control and build automation.
  • Understanding of agile development frameworks and production workflows.
Preferred/Bonus Qualifications:
  • Experience with GMAE platforms and mission systems.
  • Familiarity with QTA, DX, and ROLLERCOASTER integrations.
  • Knowledge of entity resolution principles and Query in Place techniques.
  • Exposure to knowledge graph technologies and graph-based data modeling.

  • Fort Meade, MD
  • This position is onsite and there is no remote availability
Clearance Requirement:
  • Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
