Job Description


Responsibilities:

  1. Project Planning and Initiation:
    • Develop comprehensive project plans, defining scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
    • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project requirements.

  2. PMP Methodology:
    • Apply Project Management Professional (PMP) principles and methodologies to ensure effective project execution.
    • Lead project teams in adherence to PMP best practices and standards.

  3. IT Infrastructure Expertise:
    • Leverage deep knowledge of IT infrastructure to oversee the planning and implementation of technology projects.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure alignment with organizational goals and technology standards.

  4. Stakeholder Communication:
    • Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and alignment with business objectives.
    • Facilitate regular project status meetings and provide timely updates.

  5. Resource Management:
    • Allocate resources effectively to meet project objectives.
    • Collaborate with department managers to secure necessary resources and expertise.

  6. Risk Management:
    • Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing challenges to ensure successful project outcomes.
    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

  7. Quality Assurance:
    • Implement quality assurance measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT infrastructure solutions.
    • Conduct regular project reviews to assess performance against established benchmarks.

  8. Budget Management:
    • Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
    • Monitor and report on budgetary performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a focus on IT infrastructure projects.
  • PMP certification is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies, systems, and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
