  • The Instructional Designer will support the design and development of tools and training materials related to compliance  standards and the associated processes required to adhere to those regulations. This will include design and development of instructor-led and blended learning materials for core program offerings through leveraging existing learning resources or creating new or through partnering with vendors;

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and manage training and instructional materials through the use of the ADDIE methodology
  • Design and generate personalized and role-based course materials
  • Create intuitive UX and solid instructional activities
  • Analyze technical product content, compile and edit content into quality online training
  • Manage time to meet deadlines and produce quality deliverables
  • Document high-level solution design and storyboards (ILT, VILT, web-based or blended training)
  • Design, develop, implement, and evaluate learning solution final products
  • Maintains strong relationships with key business partners
  • Work continuously to improve processes, foster creativity, and solve problems on the team
  • Foster a positive corporate culture, working in a team-focused environment
  • Thrive in an agile, fast-paced, corporate environment
  • Stay current in learning and design trends and advancements to recommend innovative learning solutions; and research, evaluate, test, and recommend new learning solutions and technology
  • Understand social and mobile learning and the impact to the learning process, incorporate into programs.

Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor' s degree
  • Six (6) plus years of relevant experience in learning and development
  • Three (3) plus years of experience using Authoring Tools (Articulate Storyline 360, Vyond and/or Adobe Captivate), Learning Management System Cornerstone, and Instructional Development or similar tools
  • Five (5) to seven (7) years of instructional design, project management, and training experience - designing/developing content for technical, regulatory, and/or compliance training programs

Desired Qualifications:
  • Ability to develop complex, blended curricula using various delivery mediums that consider pre and post activities to ensure learning is continuous, effective and applied, with metrics to quantify impact
  • Advanced design capability in video development to support quick learning bites
  • Extensive experience designing and creating instructor-led training and blended-learning content for technical, regulatory, and/or compliance training programs
  • Balance of both creative and technical design expertise in a corporate environment
  • Experience applying learning theories to design, develop, and publish learning content; demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles and best practice solutions for corporate learning programs
  • Knowledge of a systematic approach to designing/developing training products and services in a corporate environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be innovative, results/detail oriented, and collaborative
  • Able to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines and is quality focused
  • Excellent planning, documentation and organization skills; strong attention to detail and high standards of quality; strong commitment to continuous improvement
  • Results driven, self-starter, and open to change
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Must be able to adapt to several roles: training, consulting, facilitating, communicating and collaborating up, down, and across the organization
