Job Description
Kavaliro is seeking a Luxury Design Associate who will be a client-focused design professional combining strong aesthetic sensibility with consultative sales expertise. This role is responsible for guiding clients through the furniture selection and design process while delivering a premium, personalized experience that reflects the brand’s craftsmanship, quality, and attention to detail. The associate serves as both a trusted design advisor and a sales partner, helping clients translate their vision into beautifully executed interiors.
Key Responsibilities

Engage with clients in a showroom or studio setting to understand their design goals, lifestyle needs, and budget

Provide expert guidance on furniture collections, materials, finishes, and customization options

Develop furniture layouts, concepts, or design recommendations that align with client expectations and brand standards

Build and maintain strong client relationships through attentive service, follow-up, and ongoing communication

Drive sales by presenting solutions thoughtfully, handling objections, and closing transactions with confidence

Prepare quotes, proposals, and orders while ensuring accuracy and attention to detail

Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, or logistics partners to support order fulfillment and delivery timelines

Maintain showroom presentation, visual merchandising, and product knowledge at a luxury standard

Stay informed on design trends, materials, and industry best practices
Qualifications

Background or education in interior design, furniture design, architecture, or a related field

Experience in luxury retail, showroom sales, or client-facing design roles

Strong eye for aesthetics, materials, and spatial planning

Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills

Proven ability to build rapport with discerning, high-expectation clients

Sales-driven mindset with a consultative, service-oriented approach

High level of professionalism, organization, and attention to detail

Proficiency with design tools, CRM systems, or order management software is a plus
