MEP Sales Engineer
Job Description
- Develop quality customer relationships by personal visits, phone calls, follow-ups, emails, etc.
- Work with internal teams to achieve targeted business goals.
- Conduct marketing campaigns, trade shows, and targeted meetings with new clients etc. to increase the company’s recognition.
- Prepare and deliver technical presentations explaining services to customer and prospective clients
- Prepare and present proposals
- Confer with client and engineers to assess engineering needs and to determine requirements
- Collaborate with the Sales Department to understand client requirements and provide sales support
- Secure new projects and maintain contact with current clients for additional work
- Attend weekly sales meetings with the Sales Department
- Review the status of your leads, prospects, and opportunities
- Review and update the status of existing opportunities
- Review status of requested Presentations
- Share successes, acknowledge performance, and award praise
- Review and annotate all contracts and other forms of agreement between client . Must submit Contract to Ownership for signature authorization.
- Complete a Sales Handoff Meeting with Engineering Production Staff to ensure comprehension of scope, schedule, and fee.
Core Competencies
- Knowledge of MS Office suite and Vantagepoint CRM Software
- Ability to develop and make presentations for existing and prospective customers professionally. Support Client Leaders and Sales Engineers in this activity, as required.

- Possess the ability to perform under pressure and effectively prioritize tasks
- Possess effective communication and writing skills
- Effective people skills: the ability to handle people no matter how difficult they might seem
- Ability to multi-task: able to complete several tasks together and meet deadlines
Degree-Bachelors in Engineering
Qualifications, future educational requirements.
PE preferred, but not required. Strong working knowledge of Mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design requirements, emphasis on aviation, datacenter, medical, and industrial applications.
