Network Configuration Manager (Top Secret w/SCI eligibility)

Kavaliro has an immediate need for a Network Configuration Manager who will provide network configuration and performance management on a moment-to-moment
basis. This entails identifying, mapping, and documenting both WAN and Campus Area Network (CAN), information processing system components, devices, applications, and configurations (both hardware and software) and ensuring distribution of software applications to local and remote DPA sites.

Required Skills and Experience:
  • Active Top Secret w/SCI eligibility
  • Minimum of six (6) years’ network configuration management experience
  • Possess ITIL (Foundation level) and IAT Level II certifications

Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Working knowledge of AF DCGS and AF ISR operations is desired
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of LDAP, NTP, DNS, and Active Directory
  • Other preferred and certifications are VMWare Certified Professional (VCP) and experience with Cisco, Juniper, OTN, network monitoring tools
  • Experience with monitoring tools is desired
  • Scripting skills (e.g. Python, Shell, Ruby etc.)
  • Experience working with KVM, Libvirt, VMWare, or other virtualization technology

What  you will work on:
  • Manage OA stacks and remote maintenance management when directed
  • Provide Network Address Management and allocation (for example, Internet Protocol (IP) address and Emulated Local Area Network (ELAN)
  • management, autonomous systems, etc.)
  • Review, validate, process OR maintain Network Service Request (NSR) and Port & Services Request (PSR) historical packages; validate and
  • coordinate on NSR
  • Maintain security parameters and domain names
  • Maintain DPA configuration information for data, current architecture, and modifications to include system configuration data and command and
  • control (C2) client workstation applications
  • Manage East Coast Hub (ECH), West Coast Hub (WCH), CAN and Air Force DCGS Point of Presence (AFDPoP) drawings
  • Participate in system requirements reviews, technical exchanges, and design reviews as directed
  • Document WAN/CAN topology, rack elevations, information processing system components, devices, applications, and configurations of the
  • DCGS weapon system
