Job Description

Kavaliro is seeking a Network Engineer to support a client in Chantilly, VA. 

The Network Engineer Will:
  • Assess and make recommendations of current network infrastructure.
  • Assess and validate ongoing requirements.
  • Assess and recommend the network architectures, for future innovation.
  • Assess cloud requirements and design optional network infrastructure opportunities.
  • Create new updates and features to improve performance with current network infrastructure.
  • Create technical documentation in support of design network infrastructure.
  • Provide O&M and support for Sponsor’s network infrastructure.
Required Skills:
 
  • Demonstrated experience with designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining complex, multi-segmented secure network infrastructures, virtual and physical.  
  • Demonstrated experience with virtual and physical firewalls 
  • Demonstrated experience with network hardware designing and engineering. 
  • Demonstrated experience with Cloud Services. 
  • Demonstrated experience with creating technical documentation in support of network infrastructure.  
  • Demonstrated experience with presenting designs and ideas.  
Certifications:
  • DESIRED: Cisco Certified Network Associate or Professionals

Location:
  • Chantilly, VA
  • This position is onsite and there is no remote availability

Clearance Requirement: 
  • Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance with a Full Scope Polygraph
