Job Description

Kavaliro is seeking a Network Installer to support a client in California. 

Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Experience installing and routing network cabling (Cat6 and fiber) in commercial environments
  • Ability to pull cable above ceiling (drop ceilings) and through walls/conduit
  • Proficient in terminating Cat6 cables (RJ45 ends and keystone jacks)
  • Experience installing and terminating patch panels
  • Ability to install, mount, and dress network racks and equipment
  • Knowledge of basic cable management and labeling standards
  • Ability to read and follow simple network diagrams or installation instructions
  • Familiarity with testing and verifying cable runs (continuity, basic certification preferred)
  • Comfortable working on ladders and performing overhead work for extended periods
  • Basic understanding of telecommunications room layouts and best practices
Preferred (but not required):
  • Experience with fiber optic cable handling and termination
  • Familiarity with TIA/EIA standards
  • Prior work in data centers or IT infrastructure projects
