Patient Service Technician – Local Delivery Driver

Kavaliro is seeking a Patient Service Technician / Local Delivery Driver for a confidential healthcare client in Watertown, Wisconsin.

This role combines local driving with hands-on patient support. You’ll deliver, pick up, and set up respiratory and durable medical equipment in patients’ homes throughout the local area while helping patients and caregivers understand how to safely use their equipment.

Pay: up to $43,500 annually
Responsibilities

  • Drive local routes throughout Watertown and surrounding areas to deliver, pick up, and set up medical equipment

  • Educate patients and caregivers on the safe operation and basic maintenance of respiratory and home medical equipment

  • Ensure equipment is functioning properly and perform basic troubleshooting as needed

  • Complete delivery documentation and patient visit records accurately and on time

  • Load, unload, secure, and transport medical equipment safely

  • Maintain assigned company vehicle in a clean and safe operating condition

  • Follow all company, safety, and healthcare compliance procedures

  • Participate in an on-call rotation, which may include evenings and/or weekends

  • Respond to urgent patient equipment needs when assigned

  • Perform additional duties as needed
Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

  • Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing at least 65 pounds

  • Strong communication and customer service skills

  • Ability to work independently and manage a local delivery schedule

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Comfortable using computers, tablets, email, and basic Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling patient information

  • Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn basic equipment troubleshooting
Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous delivery, field service, healthcare, or patient-facing experience

  • Experience with durable medical equipment or respiratory equipment

  • At least one plus year of related work experience

  • Familiarity with medical terminology

  • Previous experience loading, securing, and transporting equipment
Physical & Work Requirements

  • Drive a company vehicle for the majority of the workday

  • Regularly sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, lift, and carry equipment

  • Lift and transport patient equipment weighing at least 65 pounds

  • Enter patients’ homes and interact directly with patients and caregivers

  • Potential exposure to contagious pathogens in healthcare environments

  • Ability to comply with required respiratory protection and N95 fit-testing procedures

  • When required for N95 use, maintain facial hair in accordance with applicable OSHA face-seal requirements

  • Available for occasional after-hours and weekend on-call assignments
Employment Requirements
Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of applicable pre-employment requirements, including:

  • Criminal background screening

  • Drug screening, when required for the position

  • Healthcare facility credentialing, when applicable

  • Verification of a valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record

  • Medical evaluation and N95 fit testing, when applicable

Background screening results will be evaluated in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws and will not automatically disqualify an applicant.
