Job Description


Kavaliro is seeking a Project Coordinator who will support the  Air Force/Concept Development Management Office (SAF/CDM), Mission Architecture Innovation directorate (CDMM) and is primarily focused on CDMM’s Stakeholder Engagement and Outreach initiatives.

CDMM provides design, configuration, accreditation and implementation of mission and R&D information management systems and cloud-based solutions that support defense and intelligence priorities as well as internal business processes and mission functions, network communications, database management, security accreditation, and workflow management.

The Project Coordinator will serve as a bridge between technical development staff and mission users, facilitating clear communication, translating technical concepts into user-friendly language, and ensuring alignment with user needs.

The Project Coordinator will organize and manage the various parts of a project to ensure its success. This includes assigning and monitoring daily tasks and communication, as well as creating reports and updates for the project managers and other various stakeholders.


Responsibilities Include
 
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement for SAP projects by identifying, contacting, and maintaining relationships with key project stakeholders and users.
  • Understand and document stakeholder requirements through effective communication and collaboration, ensuring alignment with project goals.
  • Analyze and document policy implications related to the specialized project, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive briefings for both non-technical and technical senior leadership, conveying project progress, challenges, and strategic implications.
  • Coordinate project-related events, workshops, and outreach activities to enhance project visibility and engagement.
  • Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with stakeholder expectations.
  • Monitor and report on project metrics, highlighting achievements, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to enhance project effectiveness.
  • Communicate effectively with the team.

Required Skills/Experience
 
  • Associate’s degree or higher in business or other technical related fields
  • DoD Top Secret, SCI Eligible
  • 3+ years’ experience with Special Access Program (SAP-DoD) and Controlled Access Programs (CAP-Intelligence Community) programs and policy
  • 3+ years’ experience managing the daily activities and needs of an entire team requires an excellent ability to multitask and effectively manage your time.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software, specifically PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a rapidly changing and demanding environment
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to balance multiple tasks with competing priority levels in support of various stakeholders
  • Knowledgeable in Information Technology (IT, cloud, cybersecurity, networking, etc.)
  • As the primary point of contact for stakeholder engagement, must be able to provide guidance, feedback, and encouragement for achieving goals
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Must possess a positive outlook and help the entire team stay engaged and motivated

Desired Skills/Experience – Nice to haves .
 
  • Experience with JWICS
  • PMP

Clearance Requirement:
  • Candidates must have an active TS/SCI security clearance for consideration
