Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage finance-related projects within a dynamic renewable energy company, with a specific focus on accounts payable, HR payroll systems, and ERP implementations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define project scopes, and ensure alignment with financial objectives.
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of accounts payable processes, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with financial regulations.
- Manage HR payroll system projects, ensuring seamless integration with finance systems and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Lead the planning, implementation, and enhancement of ERP systems, driving standardization and efficiency across financial operations.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in financial processes, recommending and implementing solutions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring successful delivery of finance-related projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to address potential challenges in project execution.
- Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators, and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders.
- Provide guidance and support to finance and accounting teams during system implementations and process improvements.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes in finance, implementing relevant updates into project strategies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in finance, with a focus on accounts payable, HR payroll systems, and ERP implementations.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience working with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TRM, IFS) and proficiency in financial software applications.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Ability to analyze complex financial processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement strategic solutions.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
