Job Description

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of program and customer goals and plans.

  • Document and develop in-depth knowledge of organization's existing IT architecture and infrastructure, and technology portfolio.

  • Conduct research on emerging technologies in support of infrastructure development efforts, and recommend technologies that will increase cost effectiveness and infrastructure flexibility.

  • Develop, document, make recommendations, and communicate plans for investing in IT infrastructure, including analysis of cost reduction opportunities.

  • Provides critical insight and guidance for the preparation and maintenance of all documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects.

  • Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology, always on the lookout for new technologies, and works with management to evolve current processes.

  • Drives scalability and operability of supported systems/infrastructure.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in systems engineering, or solution architect or systems architect roles.
  • BA/BS Degree or higher in field of computer science, information systems, or computer engineering or relevant degree.
  • DoD IAT-II 

  • Professional level certification relevant to enterprise architecture

  • Current DoD TS/SCI Clearance
  • Familiar with Architectural Frameworks
Salary:
  • $105,00 - $115,000
