Software Developer- Integration
Jacksonville, FL

The Developer Support Engineer is an entry-level software developer responsible for managing and resolving complex technical escalations from third-party developer integrating to the company’s payment terminals.

  • Work directly with the third-party developers to test and improve the quality of integrations from our software partners.
  • Serve as an advocate for developers using the company’s SDK by ensuring the accuracy of  SDK technical documentation.
  • Maintain and test the SDKs.
  • Create relevant sample codes.
  • Manage relationships with third-party developers.
  • Work with third-party developers to debug and resolve technical integration problems.
  • Drive projects that improve our developer support experience and operational processes.
  • Writing code samples, tutorials, and technical articles for the developer community.
  • Collaborate with other teams to resolve customers’ integration issues.
  • Work with Quality Assurance team to identify bugs and improve the quality of solutions.

Required Skills/Abilities:
  • Functional coding skills in at least one of the programming languages (Java, C++, C#, Swift and Objective-C) and working knowledge of software and environments used to develop these programming languages.
  • Knowledge in working with web services using SOAP and RESTful.
  • Intuitive grasp of customer experiences and interaction, and how to improve them.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and ambiguous information to generate innovative solutions in an extremely fast-paced environment.
  • Enthusiasm to learn quickly in a new industry paradigm.
  • Outstanding speaking, writing, and presentation skills, as well as the ability to persuade, inspire, and motivate others.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with ability to balance competing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently but also an actively participating team member.
  • Logically skilled to analyze, troubleshoot and resolve problems in a unique, clever, and complete way.

    Education and Experience:
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field preferred.

    Preferred Experience:
  • Experience with Mobile Application development preferred.
  • Experience in cross platform development.
  • Knowledge in Payment or Banking Industry.
  • Knowledge in Operating Systems and Hardware.
