Tax Accountant

Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, businesses, and organizations
- Conduct tax research and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations
- Provide tax planning and consulting services to clients to minimize tax liabilities and maximize tax savings.
- Reviews products and services to maximize system security, manageability, performance and reliability.
- Assist clients with tax audits and represent them before tax authorities.
- Collaborate with other members of the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely tax filings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting
- 3+ years of Public Accounting Experience
- Proficient with MS Office programs (Excel/Word/Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat
- Trust accounting & tax preparation experience is a plus
- Strong writing and communication skills
