Job Description


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field of Information Technology or 5+ years experience as a telecommunications engineer required.

  • CVA or equivalent voice certification or ability to obtain certification within the first 6 months of employment required.

  • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of a range of voice software and hardware systems and related technologies to include SIP, CoS, and QoS required. 

  • Demonstrate the ability to install, configure, and maintain voice systems and/or related hardware required.

  • Experience with Cisco Call Manager and Cisco Contact Center required.

  • Knowledge of network/voice systems infrastructure requirements and standards required.

  • Experience with cloud telephony systems preferred.

  • Demonstrate the ability to analyze and assess network/voice architecture requirements and determine optimum, cost-effective solutions preferred. 

  • Prior experience with CAD, GCAIH, CASP and CISA software and systems preferred.

  • Demonstrate the ability of planning Voice systems monitoring and capacity management preferred. 

  • Knowledge of network security systems, applications, procedures, and techniques preferred.

  • Knowledge of contract documents and specifications preferred. 

  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
