UKG WFM/ Boomi System Administrator

Job Description

Seeking a skilled UKG WFM/Boomi System Administrator to serve as the primary subject matter and configuration expert for the UKG Pro Workforce Management suite and associated Boomi integrations. This role involves maintaining, researching, analyzing, configuring, and reporting on HRIS business applications, as well as implementing updates, fixes, and new products. The administrator will lead the design of integration strategies connecting cloud, SaaS, and on-premises systems to enable seamless data exchange, process automation, and data validation. Responsibilities also include programming to support UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions) for timekeeping and advanced scheduling, and collaborating across departments to address support needs and lead projects.
Pay: Up to $130,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and maintain all aspects of UKG WFM, including time off plans, pay code calculations, work rules, scheduling, analytics, and productivity modules.
  • Manage annual and quarterly release cycles, security, and general maintenance of the UKG suite.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and develop Boomi integrations to support HRIS system data flow.
  • Identify risks and develop effective workarounds.
  • Lead and mentor team members in best practices for design, scaling, and development.
  • Design, develop, test, and optimize integration solutions (Boomi, API, cloud connectors, etc.).
  • Map employee groups, troubleshoot UKG transaction assistant, and document integration specifications.
  • Configure and optimize integration runtimes, security protocols, and performance tuning.
  • Migrate integrations and configuration builds from test to production environments.
  • Administer ticket status for UKG support and other ticketing systems.
  • Provide after-hours and on-call support as needed.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field
  • 5+ years of configuration and technical experience in UKG Pro WFM (Dimensions)
  • 5+ years of experience designing, developing, implementing, and supporting Boomi integration solutions
  • Strong knowledge of XML, JSON, RESTful services, SOAP, code management, and testing methodologies
  • Understanding of cloud platforms and enterprise systems
  • Strong project management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • UKG and Boomi certifications
  • Experience with Python, Workday Studio, or SQL
  • PMP certification
  • Experience in healthcare or large enterprise environments
