            <description><![CDATA[<br>This position is for a mechanical engineer to provide engineering support for field turnbacks received from the elevator field mechanics. The engineer plays a crucial role in maintaining product integrity, evaluating opportunities, and integrating new component designs into existing systems, while working to meet agreed upon cost and schedule commitments.&nbsp;<br> 

<br>Typical responsibilities include component design, modeling, cost analysis, technical documentation and testing of a wide range of elevator components. The candidate should be responsible,&nbsp;self-motivated,&nbsp;able to work individually, in an engineering and cross-functional team environments,&nbsp;have&nbsp;a strong background in mechanical engineering and a good understanding of the manufacturing process. The candidate will be expected to work closely with our field representatives to drive closure of our Field Turnback Backlog by implementing engineering changes as part of our change control process.<strong>&nbsp;</strong><br>

&#9;<li>Monitors Project manpower resources and project workload, with the help of the Project Manager, to coordinate the assignment of manpower as needed to ensure that labor is managed in the most effective manner possible.
&#9;<li>Maintains knowledge of quality Field Leader candidates to ensure the ability to perform work as needed. Takes advantage of networking opportunities to recruit new Field Leaders.
&#9;<li>Coordinates periodic meetings with job teams to review project status to ensure efficient, accurate, and budget sensitive completion.
&#9;<li>Provides the best possible environment to motivate field employees and maintain the highest possible morale in the office and on the job site.

&#9;<li>Prepare, manage, and distribute appropriate documentation for job close out in coordination with company policies and procedures.
