Responsibilities:

Coordinate with Directors and other Managers to promote efficient and collaborative resource utilization and effective execution across multiple offices.
Foster a superior customer service attitude across all employees and sites.
Coordinate efforts with multiple branches, Regional Directors, Branch Managers, and company team members to implement plans and policies to achieve overall objectives and ensure operating results.
Defines project needs, develops project scope, and work plans for more complex projects which are larger in size, scope, budget, and impact.
Cost Estimation and Proposal Development: Provide historical data for key projects. Participate in estimates for regional pursuits and prepare accurate and comprehensive cost estimates and proposals for applicable projects. Review project specifications, conduct site visits and client meetings, and analyze data to develop competitive and compelling proposals within the operational capabilities of the applicable team.
Vendor and Subcontractor Management: Ensure proper sourcing procedures are followed and that compliant products and services are sourced at competitive prices. Develop strong relationships with key vendors and subcontractors to promote long-term collaboration and ensure timely delivery and consistent quality.
Client Engagement: Act as a primary point of contact for clients and develop key relationships for long-term stability and growth. Engage with clients to understand their requirements, address concerns, and provide expert guidance on solutions.
Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct thorough risk assessments for each project to identify potential challenges and opportunities. Develop risk mitigation plans and alternate solutions when warranted to ensure successful project outcomes.
Collaborate with Business Development to identify high-value opportunities as well as establishing and maintaining key client relationships.
Participate as-needed for cross-region and cross-company pursuits in the overall best interests of the companies.
Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Monitor all expenses and ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure project activities adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, coordinating all required involvement from the Safety Team, and promoting a safe working environment for employees, subcontractors, and clients.
Promote, implement, and ensure compliance with all applicable federal state, county, and local safety related regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in construction and/or project management within the industrial contracting industry.
Strong understanding of principles and practices of project management, including planning, scheduling, organizing, and coordinating.
Demonstrated success in supervising cost controls, budgeting, and tracking for complex projects.
Demonstrated skill in contract negotiation tactics and strategies.
Proficiency in construction software, project management tools, and industry-specific software (e.g., Accubid, Primavera, ViewPoint, Bluebeam,).
Ability to oversee multiple projects and personnel simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
Ability to provide timely, reliable, efficient, and courteous communication to internal and external clients.
Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, equipment, and components is desired but not required.

Summary:

Electrical Superintendent works together with project managers, architects, and engineers to complete building projects from start to end.
This may include ensuring the project is completed on time and cost-effectively.

The Electrical Superintendent will be responsible for ensuring all objectives and standards are met, and for finding solutions to problems as they arise.
You will ensure all equipment and materials are available on-site as needed.

Responsibilities:

Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.
Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.
Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion.
Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs, study schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for completion of job.
Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and subcontractors.
Select tools, materials and equipment and track inventory.

Issuing SI's and VOs to project management.
Conducting ongoing quality inspections.
Coordinate with local Union office for manpower needs.
Ensure manpower forecast completion.
Utilizing best practices to increase work quality.
Attend weekly work group meetings, review and update the schedule with project manager, review RFIâs, change orders.

Experience Required:

Support branch project managers in their day-to-day operations as well as manage their own projects.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Attends an internal Job Kickoff meeting with the Project Manager and Field Leader once a Project has been awarded. This meeting is being held to provide execution details of the Project to the Field Leader so that he has a thorough understanding of the job from the beginning.
Assist field supervisor with setting benchmarking objectives for job completion.
Prepare, manage, and distribute appropriate documentation for job close out in coordination with company policies and procedures.
Analyzes, prepares, coordinates, and provides monthly job progress reports.
Consistently visits job sites to ensure the efficiency of the jobs and to create a collaborative relationship with the client.
Requires 75% travel to client sites throughout the southeast

Qualifications:

AAS degree in construction management, project management, business, or related field and/or;
Minimum of 1+ years experience in an equivalent or similar role or equivalent combination of experience and educational background.
Ability to manage multiple projects sizing from $0 - $1Million dollars at any particular time.
Must have the proven judgment and ability to motivate, mentor, and train employees to maximum individual and team efforts.
Strong attention to detail.
Must have proven leadership qualities and the ability to communicate with direct reports in a clear, logical, concise and timely manner.
Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and functions at a single point in time.
Trade inspection in various jurisdictions.
Microsoft Suite
Power Bi, Accubid, and Viewpoint Vista a plus.

PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS

This position should be able to sit, bend, stand for extended periods, and lift items not to exceed 75 pounds.
This position should be able to climb, crawl, and squat as job site access may demand.

Qualification Requirements:

Estimating experience: Accubid preferred
Proficiency in MS Office Suite, BlueBeam, and understanding of AutoCAD, and Revit
Proven experience mentoring and managing others
Positive, proactive attitude and strong customer focus
Ability to read and understand Architectural, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing drawings
Extensive knowledge of, and compliance with, all electrical codes, Local Union Labor Agreements, and State Compliance Laws/Regulations
Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing job requirements
Strong understanding of complex and technical electrical construction and management practices
Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, as well as vendors, clients, and others

Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary

Education/Experience:

A Bachelorâs degree in a construction, engineering, or business related field from an accredited college or university preferred
A minimum of ten yearsâ experience in project management, preferably in electrical construction (*)
Knowledge of construction technology, scheduling, equipment, and methods required (*)
LEED AP, PE, and OSHA 30 certifications are desired but not mandatory
